American Idol: The Week That Was
#868 - 0--LindaK--American Idol: The Week That Was--2010-05-12 21:13:42
#Well, we had one very good solo, two great duets and three mediocre solos. Not great. -
Best performance of the week: Crystal Bowersox, especially in her duet with Lee Dwyze. And she was the best soloist.
Worst performance: Lee Dwyze. His worst performance to date.
Best dressed: Crystal. She had a cool dress on tonight.
Most disappointing performance: Michael Lynch. He was a little too predictable.
Most surprising performance: Casey James. He had a nice recovery from his disastrous performance last week. On the other hand, his song might've been a little too lazy according to Simon.
Who made it to the next round and shouldn't have: For this week, Lee. Overall, I'm not sure nobody made it that shouldn't have.
Who didn't make it to the next round and should have: Nobody. Michael was probably the best choice to go.
Best song choice: Crystal. This was the type of song she could make her own.
Worst song choice: Perhaps Lee. I love "Kiss From a Rose," but this wasn't his type of song.
Top 3 vocals: Crystal, Lee (in his duet) and Michael.
Who should we look out for: Crystal. She's back in the game.
My favorite contestant right now: Crystal, especially after the song she did.
Who do I think will win: Crystal made a great recovery and is clearly the frontrunner again.
Final Thoughts: Well, Michael's departure wasn't much of a surprise. He started out really well but then faded, although he had a few good performances after fading. With Casey, Crystal and Lee still around I'm pretty sure that Casey will be following Big Mike out the door, leaving us with a Crystal-Lee finale, which is probably deserved.
