 No surprise Wednesday.
Is Tim or Paige going to win this thing or did Lacey ever have a chance? The simple answer is no. The more complicated answer is....hell no. I did kind of get a bit skeered for Andrew. But who thought Crystal, Casey, Lee, or Siobhan were heading for the silver stool of pants wetting.
But Lacey was so graceful and so beautiful. To bad she never sang again like she sang "Wonderful World" in Hollywood. Sound familiar......Andrew....Didi.? I always liked Lacey. She was a good underdog. Unfortunately she is a small voice in a big voice competition.But frankly is lucky she got this far.
On a different subject, still Idol related, Andrew has many many fans folks. He was an interent sensation before Idol. But I think his days could still be numbered. We keep saying week after week, he'll get his groove back and really he hasn't even come close. Didi on the other hand has done nicely in her comeback. Paige has begun to show us ....something. I was actually a little surprised to see her in the stool. I mean she sang so crappy for three weeks and made it through so one would think singing well would keep her in the safe arena.
I forgot to mention last coulmn that I got one of my predictions really wrong. This was not the worst top 12 night ever. In fact it was not even close to the worst. But on the good side, you, my readers, did predict, via your vote totals that Siobhan would be the best on Stones night. Good job!
And does anyone know what next week's theme is. I didn't catch it or they didn't throw it.
