What do you know? Canada may be getting back on
track. Too little too late I’m afraid.
After the ageless Paul Anka and Company sing together it’s time
to find out if the Idolhead should stop watching CI 5. Without giving a bottom
two, Ben made each one of the Idols sweat it out before revealing tonight’s
bootee. Of course he goes to Carly Rae first asking Sass if she has anything to
say to Carly Rae. Asking about Carly Rae first it appears she’s gone and from the look on her face she thinks she’s a goner. I too had a lump in my throat for a
second. But after asking each judge what
they had to say to each contestant, we find that it’s time for Dwight to head back
home.
Not a surprise at all. The only surprise is how he outlasted
Martha Joy, Greg, Matt, Tara, and Khalila. Oh well. He did and that’s that. SO
that makes Jaydee this much (I’m holding my fingers 10 microns apart, I
measured) closer to becoming the next Sony nightmare….I mean next Canadian Idol.
Have you voted on the song each of the top 3 will sing? My
votes went “Sunday Morning” for Carly Rae, Incubus for Brian and Jaydee…..well
I couldn’t find what I’d like for him to sing so I left it blank.
Next Tuesday we will know our final two. Keep this in mind; Jaydee
has never been in the bottom anything. Brian and Carly Rae have spent mucho
time there. One of these immensely more talented singers will be going home next
week and it will be a shame. In my poll most agreed with me that Carly Rae and
Brian should be the final two. Although it will not be the best final two this
season could have produced, should it happen, it may well salvage the season.
Here’s hoping for a miracle.
Is it Monday yet?
